My guest room has a second job...

as a Boutique ~

{and BTW it's not this yellow}

The Holiday Boutique was a great success.

And, since then, people have been contacting me for more.

So, I set up our guest room as a makeshift Boutique.

If you were at the Boutique, or may be you missed it, don't be shy.

lovin' a great Homegoods find

{bedding}

secret...they're not even the right sized quilts, but I loved them so much I bought them anyhow - you'd never know.  And better too big than too small, right?

what to do with those darn bed risers, I don't know?  Do you have a solution?

the beds had a previous life in this room  

a little spray paint, and voile

this old trunk was found by the side of the road

as well as these suitcases

a little under the bed storage with an old dresser drawer {yes, side of the road}

blinds were an overstock.com steal 

picket fence post and a little sharpie marker

poor little corner of the room waitin' for some love

$5 yard sale find

what the room looked like the first week we lived here, pure squaller

and now

The back wall will soon have distressed white horizontal planks installed with white molding and black window frames.

{this is another room that was a victim of peach molding and doors}

Simple, easy, and best of all the room could pass for "done".
