Picasso once famously said, "when you don't have red [paint] use blue!", and those words sprang to mind today, as I picked up this pretty sauce boat that I found last week in a fair, and set out to make a matching blue and bouquet ... of course in this season I don't have blue and white, so I used ... red and orange!
Here we have dahlias, an apricot rose, old fashioned marigolds and annual poppies, very cottage garden, very simple but guaranteed to catch the eye!
