fete de la musique

Tomorrow is midsummers day and in France that means la fête de la musique.  All over the country musicians will spontaneously set themselves up for business on street corners, village squares, and local bars ...  I love this tradition, it has a free and happy feel to it, be it improvised  jazz on le pont des arts  or classical quartets in the  baroque church at La Madeleine.......
