the victorian greenhouse

If you find yourself in deepest Kent (UK) this summer, maybe visiting the wonderful gardens at Sissinghurst, you could do far worse than follow the  path to Hawkhurst and check out this charming nursery in a walled garden, complete with Victorian greenhouses.

At The Walled Nursery  they are passionate about their plants, but they do enjoy a garden with a little whimsy.   Which is why you'll find a wonderful selection of vintage garden tools for sale; bunting hung between the green houses and plants housed in the most unusual places!

I find that buying plants in a place like this, is way more inspirational than in a traditional garden centre.  I return home my mind filled with visions of rambling roses and rampant raspberries, all fired up to rework my own garden.

If you want to find out more about this wonderful nursery, or find out where they are showing their plants during the summer, you can also check out their facebook page

Over the next few days I shall be in sunny Provence, so the blog will be picture rich and light on words for a few days.

Thank you for reading me, you are the best!
